New To Zetapets? Need a Hand Getting Started? Welcome to TLC's Newbie Guide. Here you will find a list of things you should know while traveling through Sentrion. There will be tips, hints, definitions, and warnings.
What is Zetapets? Zetapets is a virtual pet site that is dedicated to making your day a bit less stressful. It is a clean site with attentive staff members who take the time for individuals and their questions/concerns. In Zetapets, you are given the choice of 40 different pets to choose from, create, and name. ^_^ You then are given a variety of things to take care of your pets with, such as food, water, toys, and more. ~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~ What are “ZP”? “ZP” stands for ZetaPoints and is the currency used in Zetapets to buy food, water, toys, petpals, and anything else you feel your pet needs to survive or just random items you think are cool. ~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~ How do I earn Zetapoints? Well, you can earn Zetapoints by playing games, restocking your shop, and trades. ~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~ What games are there to play? Right now, there are only a select few games to play. You have the choice of:
The most popular game available is Randon ZP, which gives you a random amount of Zetapoints (500-2,000)once ever two hours. ~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~ How do I activate my pet? To activate your pet, you click on your pet's name. A lot of times newbies click on the picture thinking that will activate your pet, but don't trust the picture. It does nothing. >.< ~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~ How do I paint my pet different colors? To paint your pet, you need to purchase a Water Distiller. These Distillers are commonly found in the Distiller Shop, though the retired Water Distillers must be purchased through user shops and trades. To get to the Water Distiller Shop, you click on the Explore button, Islands, and near the middle of that page is the Water Distiller Shop. ~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~ My pet is still a baby. How long does it take for it to grow up? It takes approximately two weeks for your Zetapet to grow from baby to adult. ~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~//~~~ My posts keep getting deleted due to "spam". Why? Spam is basically defined as chatspeak, leet, gibberish. It is useless or multiple posts that clog up the forums. If you continue to post off topic posts, then yes, they will be deleted as spam, as they have nothing to do with the topic on hand. If you type in chatspeak or leet, then the post will be deleted. Example: wen p30pl3 tlk lyke dis sooner or l8ter dis post will b d3l3t3d Posting multiple times before anyone can respond is also spam. If you ask a question in the forums, eventually someone will answer. Until then, please do not post four or five times just to get a response. If you create a post with nothing more than "lol" or " :) ", then that is also considered spam. Remember, when in the forums, the users are there to have conversations, discussions. A newbie is merely someone who is new to the site or forums. It is a person just starting to make their way around the area, and typically needs help from other users to answer questions and guide them in the right direction. A n00b is a whole different matter. N00bs are people who go out of their way to break the rules, spam, and the likes. N00bs are people who usually don't have respect for the staff or other members, who have no problem making rude comments. |
